Michaela grew up in Kailua, Oahu where she lived out her dream as a National Competitive Swimmer. She was the Girls State Champion from the age 9-18 and was the 1999 Swimmer of the Year while holding 4 High School Records. Michaela swam for the University of Nevada, Reno on a full scholarship and this is where she had her first encounter with massage therapy.
